Keep-ME-Cool

KEEP-ME-COOL

is an intelligent and reliable charging infrastructure for refrigerated trucks on highways and expressways.

Drivers of refrigerated and freezer transport vehicles have the option to power their refrigeration units with electricity instead of diesel during their rest breaks.

Master station

The master station serves as the supply axis for the charging satellites and includes not only the protection systems for the charging satellites but also the charging control, as well as power and data recording and a touch display. The enclosures are available in an aluminum/stainless steel combination according to current ASFINAG planning manuals. Operation is carried out through the 15" touch display and the RFID reader. In addition to internal temperature regulation, there is a modem for data transmission in the master station.

Green LED

The slave is available and ready for operation! (Depending on the backend connection, different status indicators can be implemented!)

Red LED

The slave is occupied, reserved, locked, or has encountered a malfunction. (Depending on the backend connection, different status indicators can be implemented!)

Rotatable Slave Charging Station

In the video, you can observe the rotation capability of the slave.

Plug Strain Relief

In the video, you can see how the plug disconnects when the truck drives away, indicating that the unplugging of the plug was forgotten.

And this is how it works:

The drivers park their trucks in the parking spaces marked with a pictogram.

The refrigeration units are connected directly to the terminals via a socket.

Once the system has been activated, the refrigeration process starts using green electricity.

Payment is made cashless via SEPA direct debits.

The electronic function descriptions on the main electricity terminal are available in several languages.
