This website is operated by MEHLER Elektrotechnik Ges.m.b.H, hereinafter "we" and "us", based in Lange Gasse 3, A4493 Wolfern. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect when you visit our website and for what purpose we use it.
Before you continue to use our website and give your consent for your data to be processed, if necessary, please read our privacy policy carefully.
As the protection of your personal data is very important to us, we strictly adhere to the statutory requirements of the DSG and the EU GDPR when collecting and processing your personal data. In the following we inform you in detail about the scope and the purpose of our data processing as well as about your rights as the person affected by the data processing.
1. Principle of anonymous use of our website / use of cookies
The use of our website is basically possible without providing personal data. However, it is possible that individual services have different regulations, to which we refer you separately. In particular, we collect and store the data that you provide to us by inserting it in our input forms or by actively interacting with our website in another way.
Recording of server logs
When you visit our website, records are created in the form of server logs. These contain information about the requested content, date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, technical information about the end device and the Internet protocol address, in an alienated form, from which access is made. The technical information of the end device includes the screen resolution and the user agent set by the browser, which in the standard setting contains information on the operating system, browser software and browser version.
By alienating the IP address, it is not possible to draw any conclusions about a specific visitor or a specific person. This information is not transmitted to third parties and is used to optimize the layout (responsive design) and to detect incorrect calls to pages that no longer exist. Therefore, no processing of personal data takes place within the meaning of the EU-DSGVO.
Out of conviction and commitment to data protection, no external resources are used that allow the flow of visitors to be tracked.
Use of cookies
Our website does not set cookies.
2. Personal data

These are only contact details and information about the concerns you are contacting us with. We use your provided personal data only to fulfil and process the respective purpose if they are required (for example for the registration, the newsletter dispatch, the processing of an order, the sending of information material and advertising, the answering of a question, enable access to certain information), and/or where it is permitted by law (in particular pursuant to Art. 6 EU-GDPR) (for example for the sending of advertising and information material to existing customers). Any further use of your data will only take place to the extent that you have previously expressly agreed. You can revoke your consent at any time for the future, as explained in more detail below.
4. Storage time
In general, we store data that you have provided us exclusively for customer care or for marketing and for information purposes for three years after our last contact. When required, we could delete your data before the expiry of the time limit of three years, if there is no legal barrier.
In case of a contract initiation or conclusion of contract, we process/store your personal data after the complete contract processing the guarantee, warranty, statute of limitations and legal retention periods, which are applicable to us, are expired, and in addition for the period until the end of any legal disputes in which the data is needed as proof.
5. Newsletter

6. Used tools and applications as well as online presence in social media
a. Our website uses the open-source web analytics service provided by Plausible, based in Estonia. The web analytics relies on anonymized data, and it is not possible to draw conclusions about individuals. The following web statistical evaluations are carried out: URL, HTTP Referer, browser, operating system, device, and country. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in measuring the reach of our website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). For more information about Plausible, please visit https://plausible.io/data-policy
b. On our website we also provide links to other websites; this is for informational purposes only. These websites are not under our control and therefore they are not covered by this Privacy Policy. If you activate a link, it is possible that the operator of this website collects information about you and processes it according to his privacy policy, which may deviate from ours.
c. Online presence in social media
We use the online presence in social networks and platforms to communicate with our customers active there, interested parties and users and to inform them about our services.
We point out that data of the users can be processed outside the area of the European Union. This may result in risks for the users because, for example, the enforcement of user rights could be more difficult. With regard to US providers, which are certified under the Privacy Shield, we point out that they are committed to respecting EU privacy standards.
Furthermore, the data of the users are usually processed for market research and advertising purposes. Thus, for example, usage profiles can be created from the user behaviour and the resultant interests of the users. The usage profiles can in turn be used to place advertisements inside and outside the platforms, for example, which correspond with the interests of the users.
For these purposes, cookies are stored on the computers of the users. Cookies record the user behaviour and the interests of the users. Moreover, in the usage profiles, data can also be stored independently of the devices used by the users (in particular if the users are members of the respective platforms and logged in to them).
The processing of the personal data of users is based on our legitimate interests in effective information of users and communication with users in accordance with article 6 paragraph 1 letter f of the GDPR. If the users are asked by the respective providers of the platforms for consent to the above-described data processing, the legal basis of the processing is article 6 paragraph 1 letter a., article 7 of the GDPR.
For a detailed description of the respective processing and the possibilities of contradiction (opt-out), we refer to the following linked information of the provider.
In the case of requests for information and the assertion of user rights, we point out that these can be claimed most effectively from the providers. Only the providers have access to the data of the users and can directly take appropriate measures and provide information. If you still need help, then do not hesitate to contact us.
