Partner in China

In 1990, Mr. KommR Josef Mehler initiated negotiations in China for the establishment of a joint venture company. A 10-year contract was signed (40% stake for MEHLER, 60% stake for the Chinese).

From 1992 to 2002, production of high-voltage distribution panels began in China, exclusively for the Asian market.

After the contract expired, this company was closed. MEHLER then constructed a completely new company on a 3-hectare plot on the outskirts of Wuhan, fully owned by MEHLER Elektrotechnik Ges.m.b.H.

After 27 years of active operations in Asia, we have withdrawn from China.

To ensure a seamless transition for our customers in China, we have reached a transitional arrangement with our partners in China.

Since April 2021, the new company operates and produces under its own new brand in the Asian region.
